The demise

As Leeds  grew, the building was soon too small to the fill the demand. It was replaced by the Second, Third and Fourth White Cloth Halls over the course of the next 180 years. The four cloth halls contributed to Leeds being the cloth marketing capital of Europe at one point, giving the city the platform to be the place it is today.
